This weekend I went, once again, in Novara in the meeting of my clan.
It 'all right, as usual, we drank, ate, drank, talked, drank So there we passed the taste all together.
The three-hour leg of the trip, unfortunately I had to do alone, but the return fortunately, I have been able to do together Scienzy, although by then he had Padova still some way to go, of course, are was delighted to speak with someone during the trip, and of the many things that we talked about one that struck me the sorrow and the insistence with which the repeated: "If computer games still others consider you loser" now I was not expecting that somehow, it always has been, for me has always been a little different, because coming from a computer school for me it was normal to talk about video games, I was also quite convinced that video games were recently experiencing a boom in public, thanks to phenomena (a circus for me, but I'll explain later) as a Modern Warfare 2 of them even saw the advertisement for TV, which is absolutely unprecedented in Italy.
But it is not.
What's the problem?
Well perhaps too simplistic to reduce the clearance on the internet, play in a clan even worse, an obsession and almost no one compares to a hobby for example.
Of course, those sketched for which the game takes precedence over real life exist there, but not all. I would dare say they are a minority but I do not know even if it is indeed the case.
The point is that no one ever asks the educational aspect of a video game, or rather to play with other people. The first example, perhaps trivial, is that you can talk to people from all over Italy and beyond. Initially it comes down to a "careful coming from above" or "but what is lamer than" but especially by sister team then you have to necessarily get along better and above all, because a team that does not bear not last more than four, five games. And then you learn to relate to others, and is even more difficult to do because you can only use the pages of a forum or a progam voip and inevitably at times it is difficult to explain carefully to your mood or your expression at that moment was perhaps misplaced.
Not to mention the type of people you can meet, which is really bad because sometimes protected by a monitor brings out the worst of themselves, other times it pushes the protection to be more honest and more normal than we are away from home because think "so even if I figure shit who knows me?" and then find those really shot up, in a good way, the most controversial and exuberant personality, and that personally I find it amazing. It amuses me a lot. Another important thing is
then maybe when you happen to be you need to organize your team. It sounds like a shit but I think that this means a lot to a person because you realize that certain behaviors of others who otherwise would not have noticed this and then out of the game also known in everyday life.
So, in summary, for me to belong to a clan is an important thing, from which you must learn to be independent but to participate.
